KRI Viper

KRI Viper is an Indonesian naval vessel of the PC-40 patrol boats and was commissioned on the 20 October 2006 by Indonesian National Defence Forces Commander Marshal Djoko Suyanto[1].

There are a total of 4 boats in the PC-40 class, KRI Viper 820, KRI Piton 821, KRI Weling 822.

Armaments

'A' gun: 25-mm and 12.7-mm calibre machine guns made in Russia - also have a combat information room, a communication room and an ammunition store room.

Notable deployments

Viper helped recover some of the bodies of the deceased from the Levina 1.[2]
